SCOOP UP CO.
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 25, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern use of Scoop Up Co.'s website and pet waste removal services. By requesting, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any applicable Service Policies posted by Scoop Up Co.
1. Services
Scoop Up Co. provides pet waste removal and related yard-cleanup services according to the service selected by the customer. Pricing may depend on service frequency, number of dogs, property or service-area size, amount of accumulated waste, accessibility, yard conditions, and additional services requested.
2. Scheduling
Service dates and arrival windows are subject to availability. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to. Routes may change because of weather, traffic, holidays, emergencies, customer demand, or other reasonable circumstances.
3. Dogs and Other Pets Must Be Inside
All dogs and other pets must be safely inside the home during every Scoop Up Co. service visit. This helps protect your pets and our team and allows us to provide the safest and most thorough service possible.
Our team will not enter a service area containing a loose dog or other animal. If a pet is outside when we arrive and we cannot safely complete service, the visit may be treated as a missed service and may still be chargeable.
4. Property Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the service area. Gates should be unlocked or proper access instructions provided before arrival. Customers are responsible for ensuring gates, locks, fences, and access points are functioning properly.
5. Yard Conditions
We make a reasonable effort to locate and remove visible pet waste. Tall or overgrown grass, leaves, standing water, landscaping, debris, mud, construction materials, or other conditions may make waste difficult or impossible to locate. We cannot guarantee removal of waste that is hidden, inaccessible, or not reasonably visible because of property conditions.
6. First-Time and Heavy Cleanup
Properties with significant accumulated pet waste may require additional time and may be subject to a first-time or heavy-cleanup charge. When reasonably possible, we will communicate significant additional charges before completing the work.
7. Payments
Customers agree to pay the price associated with the selected service and any additional charges that are authorized or clearly disclosed under applicable service policies. Recurring customers may be required to maintain a valid payment method. If payment cannot be processed, future service may be paused until the account is brought current.
8. Recurring Service
Customers enrolled in recurring service authorize Scoop Up Co. to continue providing the selected service according to the agreed schedule until canceled. There is no long-term service contract unless separately agreed to in writing.
9. 48-Hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Customers must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service. Requests received at least 48 hours before the scheduled service may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty.
Requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee or the full scheduled service charge.
10. Weather and Unsafe Conditions
Scoop Up Co. may delay, reschedule, or cancel service when weather or property conditions make service unsafe or impractical, including severe thunderstorms, lightning, flooding, ice, extreme weather, unsafe animals, or hazardous property conditions. Customers will not be charged a cancellation or rescheduling penalty when Scoop Up Co. makes the schedule change because of unsafe conditions.
11. Missed Service
If Scoop Up Co. misses a scheduled service because of an error on our part, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service or appropriately address the affected charge. If service cannot be completed because the customer did not provide access, pets were left outside, or another customer-controlled condition prevented service, the scheduled visit may still be chargeable.
12. Property Damage
We make reasonable efforts to perform services carefully. Customers should tell us about fragile, damaged, hidden, or unusual property conditions, including damaged gates, fences, irrigation systems, landscaping, underground equipment, or other hazards. Suspected service-related property damage should be reported promptly so we can review the situation.
13. Satisfaction Concerns
If you believe an area was missed during service, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will review the concern and, when appropriate, arrange to correct the affected area.
14. Promotions
Promotional offers are subject to the conditions advertised with the promotion. Unless otherwise stated, promotions are limited to eligible new customers, limited to one per household, cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and are subject to availability.
When offered, the $10 First Cleanup Special is limited to the first 24 eligible new customers and may exclude excessive buildup or properties requiring significantly additional labor.
Launch Special Terms
Enjoy your first cleanup for just $10 when you sign up for weekly or bi-weekly service. The offer requires a minimum commitment of 2 consecutive visits: your first cleanup at $10 plus one regularly priced cleanup. If service is cancelled after the first visit and before the second required visit is completed, the remaining balance of the first cleanup will be billed.
15. Customer Information and Communications
Customer information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By providing contact information, customers agree that Scoop Up Co. may contact them about service requests, appointments, account matters, payments, and customer support. Marketing communications, if used, will be handled according to applicable requirements and available opt-out options.
16. Website Use
You may not misuse the Scoop Up Co. website, attempt unauthorized access to customer or administrative accounts, interfere with website operation, submit fraudulent requests, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
17. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scoop Up Co. is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, undisclosed property hazards, inaccessible areas, hidden pet waste, unsafe animals, severe weather, or inaccurate information provided by the customer. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions as our services, pricing, website, or business operations change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
